Russia - Moscow & St. Petersburg
Attractions in Moscow mostly consist of cathedrals & still cathedrals, if not museums. But their cathedrals & museums are very pretty whether it's frm the outside or the internal design we're talkin abt. All their cathedrals hav one in common & that is their large turnip head & inside, it's always colourful & full of drawings & paintings on the walls & ceilings.

Another must-see is Moscow's metro stations. They're not as beautiful as what I heard & imagined but they're stil ok. Most are very deep underground, deepest I think is ard 8 storey. They're just like art galleries exhibiting communism. Their train is super fast & the doors just slammed at you w/o warning.
Arbat St- Street which sells souvenirs. The Hard Rock Cafe is located here. Bought sth here, a slightly large safety pin with 5 tiny dolls hanging. It's nice.

The most unforgettable place is the Peterhof, otherwise known as the Summer Palace. It's really a lovely place & I felt as if I'm born in the royal era. Too bad I hadnt paid i forgot how much roubles for camera to be permitted to take photos in the palace. Sigh, should hav done so cuz the rooms are really too beautiful to be missed. Well maybe, they won't look nice in rectangles taken by cams. So if you've got a chance to go St. Petersburg in future, be sure to buy a ticket to the Peterhof. Anyway, it spurred my interest to read more abt Russia's ancient history back in S'pore, I vow to go to the lib some time, to sort out the relationship btw St Peter, St Ivan, St Paul & Elizabeth etc.

Some streets in Moscow (only if you can find) are beautiful. They hav no modernized shoppin centres, instead are museum-like ones with beautiful carvings. So, u'll feel like u're in a paradise whn shoppin.

Everyone knows Moscow is famous for its circus, of cuz we went to watch it too. Brilliant. It's very entertaining & they're not cruel with animals. I enjoyed every part of the show just that we nd to gobble up our dinner in a box so that we can catch the show & also the overnight train to St. Petersburg.
It was a Business-class train to St. Petersburg. I like the female train conductor quite much. The journey was marvellous becuz of the good night's sleep with warm blanket & comfortable space. You just pull down your seat & that's also your bed. Tug your valuables, luggage etc under & everything becomes safe. They provided light breakfast on board, this is the 1st time I tasted salmon roe. Quite nice if you know how to appreciate the fishy smell.
Took an hr ferry ride round the waters of St. Petersburg. Nice scenery & cool air. Enjoyed the caviar treat & listened to some traditional Russian folks song tho I don't understand a single bit.
Coming nxt...Finland
