5th Oct: First meeting held. PD & APDs. deciding on itinerary. delegation of work.6th - 8th Oct: changes in intinerary. confirmation of budget & comm members. emailed around 75 agencies on our concerns. about 10% replied.
9th Oct: personal visits to 5 travel agencies. Tianjiao & Wenxin. Target focused on Skyway. Promise to reply on quotations & exact itinerary. Soughting for sponsorships. Tianjiao's plan on PRC & Wenxin's plan on STB & National Parks. Submitted 1st version proposal to sieu tee & sabrina. emailed tw tourism board inquiring on discounts & privileges
10th Oct: Informal meeting on trip progress & meeting on fri. APDs. Rejection on sponsorship proposal. Travel agency replied CX tickets fully booked. Prepare for contingency plan.
11th Oct: Received full forwarded emails from sieu tee regarding sponsorship. Some positive light-new ideas. Confirmed to change plan to a purely tw trip. 7d6n. Target: $750
12th Oct: 1st formal meeting with comm members. Informing on progress & delegation of work. Publicity & mkt work to start immediately.
13th Oct: Mail to marketing & publicity ICs the files in yahoo grp.
22nd Oct: 150 posters print-out done. 1st setting of booth outside CL. Some posters up. 4 people signed up.
23rd Oct: IVLE announcement up.
30th Oct: Tianjiao's visit to agencies
4th Nov: Finalised agency (Spring Travel) & pr.
7th Nov: Meeting up with TW tourism association (Wk&Sab)
8th Nov: Calling up of participants
14th Nov: Trip cancelled
