CAPPADOCIA CAFE RESTAURANT @ HOTEL RENDEZVOUS

On a pretty Saturday afternoon, Mic&I went for a late lunch at Hotel Rendezvous. Yup, a Turkish meal. Cut out a coupon from the mag, that's why we're here.
Well, it's not ex. Pretty avg pr <$20 per pax. We both ordered the recommended dish Doner Kebab Delight which costs $14.90 + a free Hummus.
Homemade Hummus is served hot with a blend of aromatic spices, mashed chick peas, tahini & olive oil. (credits to kupon mag)
Doner Kebab Delight - Tender boneless chicken leg is soaked in Turkish marinade. It is then grilled over a vertical spit & sliced over a warm bed of pilaf rice with crisp side salad. (credits to kupon mag)
Hummus - the warm crispy bread topped w white&black sesame seeds & cold mustard
Doner Kebab - grilled chicken w pilaf rice (tastes a lil sweet cuz of the rasins)

the crisp salad which completes the dish. a balanced meal.

AFTER 5+ @ CLARKE QUAY

We headed on to the Central for a walk. Take-away drink from Starbucks. The usual mocha drink.

I really can't forget that evening. The sunset was pretty. It's glowin in orange so striking yet warm, not hot. Without our beloved shades, we couldn't even lift our eyelids.

Clarke Quay was pretty pretty. I rmb I always like to walk the colourful bridge at 7.30 aft work. Esp. on Fridays, ppl at eateries, walking dogs, joggin, chattin. If only I could stay for a night at an apartment there. Saturday morning is pretty quiet.

There, I felt as if I'm a tourist. Lotsa nice restaurants I would like to try out. The seafood ones by the riverwalk. And a lovely angmoh help us tk a pic.

There was the NDP rehearsal. Thunderous. Lucky me managed to snap a few shots.
